if you enjoyed books like The Red Tent because of the "behind the scenes" of bible stories; this book is for you!
the story is what happens after noah is told by Yahweh that he has to build an ark.can you imagine what it was like having to tell your spouse something like that???
at times time times unbelievable but all in all a good read!

VERY good book. Entertaining, made me laugh out loud a few times with great combacks from Noah's sons. Good read all around.

A very interesting perspective on the times of Noah (spelled "Noe" in this book per the 1914 Douay Bible, translated from the 1609 edition) and his family. If you've ever wondered what it might have been like to live through those 40 days and 40 nights, I highly recommend this novel! It fleshes out the stories of Noah, his sons, and their wives - all from their own unique viewpoints.

I really enjoyed this book. It gives a behind the scenes look at Noah & his they actually got the animals, what the 40 days & 40 nights were like. HOWEVER, it's not something you would consider coming from anyone super's more of some guy's idea of what happened and developing a story, at times tawdry, about it. Not meant to be taken literally, but just something to think about from a very different perspective.

Good storyline. Lots of sex and language, only thing to look out for.
