The first book the prince she never knew, kind of stunk. Too much introspection and not enough dialogue. Leo and Alyse are pressured and pushed by his parents, two people nobody likes. I don't want to spoil anything, but after all the stuff, not liking each other, getting a divorce, suddenly they both admit they love each other, but nothing is settled, not the awful parents, ( king and queen) wasting and bankrupting the country, the missing son, who didn't want to be king and has been gone for 15 years! And what the H and h are going to do? I am not a writer I want everything settled and tied up, this book ended too soon and without really engaging the reader. Book two was much better, brooding Russian hero, happy young woman, an interesting flowing love story, I liked it, not loved, it also ended rather abruptly not as bad as book one but still, it is worth reading.
