My full WL consists of wl books for multiple people, they aren't all for me.  I know I can create separate lists for my own organizational purposes, so, for the purpose of discussion, I make a separate list of my dog's wl books.  Is there any way to print out these book lists?  I know I can print out, a couple different ways, my whole WL, but is there any way to print out the other book lists?  This is under "My Account --> My Lists --> Book lists --> My Book Lists".  Then, one of "My" book lists would be my dog's wl, can I just print that out?  I don't see how or where.  Hope I haven't made this too confusing.  Thanks.

Julie--As far as I know, the only way to print out lists we've created is by printing the web page from your browser's menu.  It'll print all the details including images on the page--I don't know of any way to export the list for printing a more compact version.

I sort of figured that was the case.  I made up a list today, to check it out and just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing it.  I don't want to use the ink to print out the images, etc, which was why I was hoping for a better way.  I was going to make a sub-list off of my wl and then go shopping for a bday gift for that person.  Perhaps pbs will come up with a "gift registry list" of sorts where one can add books to a sub-wl and we can print it out in order to go shopping.  I don't think I'm the only one who has books wl'd for other people.  :)

Thank you for your reply.

Julie, the folks that are in a position to implement suggestions don't read the forums often, so use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of any PBS page, then the "Feedback" button to make suggestions like yours.

if you highlight the list only (right click and highlight in blue or white on black), then in print preview select "as displayed on screen" and then hit print, making sure that it prints "as selected/selection" instead of whole page. that should get rid of the graphics.

You could export the entire list to Excel, and then modify it so you can then sort it the way you want.  That's all I got.

I use the export list  or download method also. I export it to excel and can print it from there or just look at it without having to log in. In excel you can also sort it different ways easily.

I have done that before, exporting the entire wl and just deleting what I don't need.  Since my wl is almost always under 100 books (I think currently it's at around 80), it's not too difficult to do.  If I had a large list, I would not be happy with that method.  It would seem to me that making the "sub" lists (as I'm calling them) printable would be a good thing.  I'll send in the suggestion, maybe they'll agree, maybe they wont.  :)

Julie - The PBS Team is always open to suggestions (since I've been here, I've seen tons of things implemented that came from member's feedback.) That said, how quickly things are changed depends on the desirability by members, difficulty and resources.
