I ran out of white paper for my printer and have yet to go shopping.  I have plenty of pink, green and yellow printer paper.  Is it allowed for me to print USPS postage on that?

I'd recommend staying with a pastel, the scanners used to have problems with red.  Otherwise, should be no problem at all.

You might want to make sure you wrap your book in plastic first though... If the colored paper gets even a little bit wet, it could bleed all over the book underneath. Just a thought...

The automated services have trouble reading red labels. Your red valentines day cards and red christmas cards will be delayed because of the color of the envelope. Avoid red.
