Wouldn't it be great if we could print wrappers with one click?  Choose a "Print Wrapper With Current Settings" button, and it comes out from the printer.

I haven't found a way to do it in fewer than six clicks.  Am I missing something?

It currently takes me

1. Click the Print Wrapper button

2. Click the Print Wrapper Now button

3. Click the Save button for saving to PDF file

4. Click button to Open the saved PDF file

5. Click toolbar button to print the PDF file

6. Click OK on the print dialog

(Note that I also have to delete the downloaded PDF file, which takes more clicks)

To save time, don't click Save to save the PDF, just click Open.  It opens in a new page, you then print and close it - it doesn't get saved to your computer.  This is what I do.

PS - wish I had that many credits!! ;-)

I don't do all that saving stuff.  I just click print now and then open in manually.

I just printed one out and I guess it takes me around 6 clicks to print one as well. I've never really noticed. Perhaps it takes longer on your computer, but even with all the clicking it still only takes me a matter of seconds to have the document up and printing.

I click on Print Wrapper and the download page comes up.  I click here to manually download it since my Norton does not allow popups.  My PDF automatically opens it (I do not save the files) and I click print from the toolbar.  Then I click ok from the dialogue box.  Then I have to click X to close the PDF window.  So, it takes me 5 clicks.  I JUST said to my husband on Friday when I was printing out a label:  "I WISH THERE WERE A WAY TO PRINT WITH ONE CLICK!"  So, I am completely with you on this!

If we could print with one click folks would screw up and print stuff they weren't ready to print...or pay twice for a reprint because they forgot to change the settings blah, blah, blah.

Think of it as a fail safe.

Do you know that there was substantial resistance to One Click Ordering from Amazon?  The CEO had to insist before anyone would implement it.

Anyway, I've got it down to three clicks:

1. Click "Cannot get the wrapper to print"

2. Click "click here to try the backup wrapper"

3. Click OK

You don't have to pay again if you reprint a wrapper after using the printed postage. You won't be able to adjust the postage amount or the date.  But you don't have to pay again either.
