I am at the library, and wanting to print out an address label where I have inserted the names myself. (Long story short, someone ordered a book from me, the computer burped and I accidently cancelled his request, instead of putitng book back on shelf, just sending it anyway).

But the only address labels I can see that can be *filled out* are the dc ones, but I dont want to use dc for this.  I know others have sent me labels with no dc on them, without me actually going thru the system (damaged books, private trades, etc)

How is there a way for me to do this?

You might want to make sure that the system didn't order him another copy from someone else.  If the cancellation was on your side it will automatically pass his request on to the next person in the FIFO line.  Then he'll end up with 2 books.

He and I have already talked about it, he has sent me his address and everything.  He and I have agreed on this, I was just wanting to print out a label, sometimes it is so much easier that way.

Thanks

If you have lost the request, and you have agreed on credit transfer, and that you would mail the book to this person, you could print out a label by posting the book again and use the send to a friend option.

Or you could repost the book, and have him request it directly from your bookshelf and you can try again!

Mail to a friend function is what you're talking about I think.....you can do that by adding the book to you're shelf and then you should see a button that says "mail to a friend" where you can generate the PBS wrapper(no DC) without an order.
