Is there anyway to put postage on when printing a custom dc??  And also how much time do you have to mark it mailed once the label is printed?

Bertie - you cannot use printed postage in conjunction with Custom DC.

But you can use printed postage with delivery confirmation if you use the "mail to a friend" option -- and the friend does not have to be a PBS member so it's as if you're using custom DC.

Custom DC doesn't have a marked mailed option, it just gives you a label with DC on it. If it is a book you are mailing, then I would also suggest using the Mail to A Friend option. Go to the book details page and under Other Options you will find Mail to a Friend even if its a WL book or not posted to your Bookshelf :)

Thanks to all, I had no idea about the mail to friend option.

 Now you don't even have to post the book to your bookshelf to use the Mail To a Friend option.  It used to be to use that option for a WL book, you had to post a dummy book.  Now it's on the listing and I used it the other day to mail a WL game book when I didn't feel like going to the PO and wnated PBS postage.

Custom DC is not dated Bertie, so there are no time restrictions, stale postage, or button to mark 'mailed' when using this option.  It does however transfer your credit when scanned at the PO (and downloaded).
