I know there are others here that use paypal to print out mailing labels.  I just printed off my 2 mailing labels so I can send books and they charged me the new media rate ... and even that was wrong!  Did the prices go into effect at 7:00pm EST?  If you printed a mailing label, did you notice they are charging 2.39 for 1pound of media mail?   Has anyone noticed the change this early?

DC also went up a penny.  That could account for the one cent difference.

If you printed your mailing label on 5/10/09 late in the day, I'm guessing that PayPal must assume it would not be picked up until Monday, 5/11, when the new rates are in effect.  I don't know of any PO that is still open so late in the day on Sunday.  Several of the POs in my town are open on Sunday but they all close at 5:00 pm and the Blue Box outside each PO has a big note indicating no Sunday pickup and new rates are in effect for the Monday pickup.
