Just FYI   I mailed a priority envelope (not a book) to someone 1 state away on 4-28.  I sent it priority and paid for delivery confirmation.  It still hasn't gotten there.  It looks like it never left the post office.  It shows accepted at... but that's it.   I went to the post office and she said well that sometimes happens. It's not guaranteed.  No, I don't get a refund.  She gave me a number to call and they said they would look into it.  Then I got a call back saying, sorry we have no idea what happend to it.  I could file a claim with the postal inspector but no refund of postage or dc.

So .... just so ya know.... in case ya don't....   why pay them more money when it won't get there any  faster.

I sent my mom a package priority mail 2-day with DC as well. When she hadn't received it after a week she called HER PO and asked about it. They said it had been delivered and she told them NO it hadn't. They talked to the carrier and he said he left it in the screen door which he didn't. Anyway 2 days later the package was delivered to her by the mail person. It didn't look opened, so i don't know if it was left at the wrong address or what. But we had to make a big stink to find it.
