I've always thought it a shame that Anna Salter stopped after book 4. This whole series grabbed me, reminding me of both Sue Grafton and Patricia Cornwell. Great character developement - especially if you can read the series in order.

A very pregnant Michael Stone gets involved again in a prison problem. This time the reader knows up front who the bad guys are; the mystery is how they're going to be caught, and what damage they will do before they're caught. Another good one from Anna Salter!
