I've watched this thread for a couple of seasons. It's very difficult for me to pick teams each week, but fun to follow this. I just want to say, both the 49er fans and Raven fans attending the SuperBowl in NOLA are in for a treat. Not only are they going to enjoy the game but Mardi Gras season is in full swing. I'm not sure if there are any Falcon fans here, but I must say I'm so happy they're not playing in the SuperBowl. I'm just sayin' may the best team win! |

Sunday, February 3 CBS Super Bowl San Francisco vs Baltimore - RAVENS - I don't know why, but starting to think Ravens just might come out on top, so I have changed my vote. Hi Mimi G - You should really come back in sept and give it a try. It's fun and not that hard to do. You're right, it should be a great SB. I'd give anything to 1) go to a SB and 2) go to NO. Next year the SB will be in my own state and it sure would be fantastic to see it in person. The tickets will be so expensive, that the only way I can see myself going is if I hit the lottery.

Hi Bettyjean, The reports I've heard give the 49ers a 4 point lead, but I don't pay attention to them. I'm not rooting for any particular team to win the SB. I know last week, all Saints fans were rooting for the 49ers because the Dirty Birds (Falcons) are long standing rivals of the Saints. I know no matter who wins the game all fans will be welcome in NOLA. From what was reported locally the cost of travel alone from Baltimore is about $800 and about $1,100 from San Francisco. The city and surrounding areas are getting really crowded. From Biloxi, MS to Lafayette, LA the hotel rooms have been filling up. I hope to be able to participate next season. |

Congratulations to Baltimore! Great game and I don't think we'll forget this one for awhile. Perhaps someone didn't pay the whole light bill last month? See you all next year! Thanks for making the season so much fun!! |
