Topic: Problem with a book I had on auto request

I had my auto request on, but a 6 year member posted a ARC copy of the book and sent me a message that if I did not want the ARC I needed to cancel the request. I think if I cancel the request, I will lose my place in line for FIFO. Who should I contact, and how do I do it, thanks I have sent a response back that they should cancel

She should be the one to cancel so that you don't lost your place. I would also notiy TBTP as she obviously know it is unpostable. Finally, it is bad form to idetnify that swapper--I suggest editing out her information from your post. |

ARC's are not allowed to be posted on PBS. Maybe in the book bazzar. If you cancel, you will lose your place in line for FIFO. You need to PM her and let her know that ARC's aren't allowed. She has to cancel. Last Edited on: 4/18/12 12:37 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

She should be offering the ARC in the book bazaar and not posting it to the WL to see if any of the wishers wants the book. |

ARC's may not be offered FIFP, it's a violation of PBS guidlines. Therefore the poster must cancel the offer, if she does not do so soon report it to TPTB so you don't loose your wishlist position. |
