I have a problem. I thought this was happening but had never been sure. Well I am doing a Bob with someone and then when I was looking for a book on my shelf I noticed that certain books I KNEW were on this persons Bob were still on my list!

So now I know we have a problem.

Anyone else have this problem?

Why wouldnt my books be deleting off my list once someone pics them?

I believe they stay on your bookshelf until both sides in the BOB accepts the offers.

Right, the books will stay on your shelf available to everyone until both of you accept the BOB swap.

Oh boy. Well now someone else has requested those books. So now I have to wait for this other person to respond to our bob first.

Grrr.

When I did BOB and this happened: I would just PM the 2nd person and say "I'm not ignoring your offer.  I have a pending request for x book.  I'm waiting for a response".  Boxers are used to this. If it removed the books before the deal was final then you'd have to repost the books if the other person never responded-which does happen.  Then you'd have to start at the end of FIFO again. 

Yup they stay available to anyone until the BOB's been accepted.  Personally I prefer to have the books available to the 1st requestor within reason.  I would aim to finish up the BOB before the timframe to respond to the other request runs out.  I've had it happen where 2 members requested the same book in a BOB & when one is accepted the system automatically removes the book from the other box.
