I made a deal with a member (a huge deal) she's agreed to mail me 19 paperback books (small ones) for 6 credits.

I've buddied her the credits and 1-1/2 month later, I still haven't received the books. I've messaged the member many times and she will not reply back. Have I been played ? Is there any chance that a larger media mail parcel could take more time to get to me ?

If it's been a week, and she hasn't responded to your PMs, please ask the Admin Team to look into whether she is active.  To talk to the Admin Team, go down to the bottom right corner of any page here.  Under "company" click on "contact us" and use the Feedback option there.

Deals arranged in discussion forums are not official swaps, especially if you buddied her the credits rather than ordering 6 books off her shelf, but if a member isn't communicating, they will be happy to look into it.

Usually with deals, it is wise to order some of the books in the amount of credits that are needed. So, if you had ordered the 6 books normally, she could have made a package of all 19 of them and sent it. And then, if it never arrives, you would get your 6 credits back in the normal course of things. Doing it that way protects both of you, the sender can use DC to insure the credits when she mails, and if something happens to the package, the receiver gets their credits back.

You probably know this now ... but maybe helpful for someone else.

I send out deals like that all the time but always have the receiver order the right number of books for the credits.  Sometimes the senders want their credits gifted, but I don't like to do it that way.  It's possible that the package takes a long time to get to you or that maybe the sender just mailed late, but since she's not responding to you it makes me a little more suspicious.  I hope it works out for you.
