Somebody just ordered a book that I deleted off my bookshelf days ago!  When I checked, my full list does not have the book, but the public bookshelf still has the deleted book and several other books that were deleted by me when I gave them away.  Has anyone else encountered this problem? 

I really don't know what to do...

It might be a glitch in the system. Since you don't have the book, just mark the request as Cannot Mail the book and it should be taken off your bookshelf once you mark it that way.

I agree with what Amber said--but want to add if there are still several books appearing on your public bookshelf that you can't delete, you should contact the PBS team and let them know so they can look into what's going on and get the problem with your bookshelf fixed before someone else orders a book you no longer have.

Thank you, Amber and Laura!  The book that was requested was part of a Box of Books order, so I can't really mark it as cannot mail, I just deleted it off the order and let the person requesting it know I no longer have it, but then I checked my public bookshelf, sure enough, it's still there.  I will follow your advice and contact the PBS team so they can look into it.
