Yesterday I ordered a book by using the book browser. Then I clicked on the icon to order other books from this member. That brought up the other person's bookshelf. However, after the bookshelf loaded, the book that I had originally ordered did NOT show up on the right hand side of the page as ordered. I scrolled down and found the book that I had ordered on the page, and clicked on it. I found no other books that I wanted, and hit the process my order button. When the order came up, it showed the book I ordered, and showed another book, with no cover shown and no name or anything else identifying the other book ordered. I did actually place the order for the book twice, once from book browser, and once from the person's bookshelf, when the book ordered from the book browser did not show up on the member's page as ordered. I cancelled the order, and did not order that book. This has now happened to me three or four times today, and I have not been able to order those books because of that. I was able to order other books and look at the member's bookshelf to see if I wanted to order books, and the book I ordered did show on the right hand side of the page as ordered. So this does not happen every time I order, just about 50% of the time. Is this a system problem? Is anyone else having this problem? Please help. |

This sounds like a glitch to me. Please send this to the site owners by using the contact us below. Just copy and paste what you've written here. They do not read most of the forums. |

I agree with Cozi -- I've never seen that before. Under "company" at the bottom right corner of the back, click "contact us" then use the Feedback option. Also, there are some browsers that aren't recommended for the site. The best is the newest version of Firefox. Updated Internet Explorer works well, too. If you are using something else, try Firefox or IE and see if that solves it. |

I have found that it is easier to order the book I want and then go back and look for other books to add. Especially if there is only one book in the system, it may disappear while you shop the list |

Thank you all for your input. I followed your advice, Cozette, and hope to hear from the site owners soon. I use the updated Internet Explorer, and this has not happened to me before. I checked the general discussion forum to see if anyone else has had this happen, but found nothing on it. Thanks again. |

I have had this happen several times. If the book shows up in the list, I add it again and when I finish the order it works just fine. It didn't order an extra books for me and it didn't take an extra credit. I figured if it ordered an extra book I could just cancel during the 1 hour remorse period. |

I just had this happen to me. Turns out the lister's booklist was on hold so couldn't order the extra books. That might have happened to you. |

The new system will add the multiple books together for you on the other person's end so it's easier to go ahead and process each book selection one at a time. Just be sure you are ordering from the same person's shelf, not from the book description area. |
