The Problem of Pain
The Problem of Pain
Author: C. S. Lewis, Robert Whitfield
Why must humanity suffer? In this elegant and thoughtful work, C. S. Lewis questions the pain and suffering that occur everyday and how this contrasts with the notion of a God that is both omnipotent and good. An answer to this critical theological problem is found within these pages.

C. S. Lewis is by far one of the finest apologeticists of the 20th century. His grasp of things we deal with in life, and how God wishes us to process them is outstanding. I have alway enjoyed a small portion of his writings, and as a result of a reading challenge, am now reading a lot more of his works. This book shows a clear understanding of the fact that pain comes, we can't avoid it, and God expects us to learn and grow from it. I enjoyed learning this more clearly from Mr. Lewis. Read this book. It can rock your world.
