Whenever I find a book I want to order, I always review that member's bookshelf through the "order additional books from this member" button.  Sometimes I find something else interesting and the shipper gets 2 credits with less postage expense.

However, the last 2 times I used this feature, my request for the second book was actually sent to a different member.  Then I get two separate shipments and no one is saving on postage.  The first time it happened, I thought I had done something wrong.  Now it happened again.  Is anyone else experiencing this??

Sometimes you might be looking at a bookshelf and want to take a close look at a book, such as the description. BUT If you order from the description page, you are ordering FIFO. To correct the problem, you should back out of the description page...back to the bookshelf... and then order the book. I can't say for sure that's what you did, but it's a very, very common mistake.

You have be be careful to order directly from that particular member by staying on their shelf; if you have clicked on the book details to find out more about the book and then clicked 'back' you will not be on that same member's shelf anymore. From the book detail screen the system will take you to the regular FIFO listing of the book. If you use the book detail screen the easiest way to return to the right shelf is to go back to your account page and use the 'order more from member' button again to get back to their specific shelf.

The member name will be in tiny print at the top of the confirmation if you are ordering it from their shelf rather than FIFO.  You have to be on either the Order More page or their bookshelf. Not the book detail page.

The two orders do look remarkably the same, other than that tiny print stating that you are ordering it from XYZ member.

I probably ordered from the book description -- that would explain it!  Thanks to you all.  I will be more careful with my next order.

The easiest way to order more books from the same member is to open 2 browser pages.  When looking a member's bookshelf, open a second page to look up book details, then toggle back to the first page to order the book.

To expand on what Scalta says above, if you want to open a second browser tab so you can read the description, hold down the CTRL key and click the book title link with the mouse.  Then, as said above, if you want to order the book, go back to the tab containing the member's bookshelf and order the book from there.
