The other reviews don't give this book justice so it's important to know this is a 4 star book!

From the first I was almost in tears and the last I was in tears! The writing draws you in and you don't want their story to ever end!

I was told Ginna Gray was a great author and she is definately an amazing storyteller. I rarely laugh out loud but found myself laughing at the characters.

Very well written, didn't want to put the book down and I advise you to read this book if you can get your hands on it!

This book deal with heart issues, Daddys love,being good enough to matter,being thrown out,the father sins and the wife that stands by him......TRUST!
The past does effect today in ways we don't even know.

This is my first Ginna Gray book but not my last. She is a wonderful author.

After being disowned by her father and kicked out of her family home seven years ago, Maggie Malone found work with a modeling agency and became a supermodel. When her mother tells Maggie that her father is dying and he wants to make up with her, she hurries back to Texas only to learn that her mother lied and her father is still furious with her. Maggie promises her mother she will stick around and help run the failing family business. When she learns that someone is actually sabotaging the business, Maggie turns to her father's right-hand man, Dan Garrett, to help her discover who is behind the damage.

This is an older book published in 2000, so the story is a bit dated. It was strange to read a story where people do not carry cellphones. Some of the characters were very cardboard.
I felt like I was reading an old Sandra Brown book where the men (except the hero) are misogynists, and the women (except the heroine) kowtow to their every word. Other than the bone-headed reason Maggie's father doesn't like her, the story was very readable. My rating: 3.5 Stars.

A good book with a shocking ending to say the least. You aren't looking for it. It does read a bit frustrating though.

Good book about a million dollar model coming home to save her father's business, about a father who denies her and a family who resents her. I really enjoyed it
