Sometimes our first love ends up being our last. Sometimes people cross your path who you're unable to forget. Sometimes the years, the miles, and the lost memories don't matter. Sometimes we don't recognize true love until it's passed us by. Ethan Ware never expected to be so willing to give away his heart. Sara Anthony never knew she would be so willing to accept it. But from their first meeting in the hills of Hartside, North Carolina, the two discover a friendship stronger than either of them could ever have imagined. A story about promises, memories, and discovering the true love of one's life, The Promise Remains shows that some loves never die.

The Promise Remains is a heartrending story about a young couple, long separated, who find their way back to each other, along the way learning about God's provision in the face of their own doubts and fears. A contemporary setting with great character development. The first novel from a promising new author.

I read this book today. It is very well written and for me I see the books as a movie in my mind as I read and he details people, places and events so that it flows for me.

This was his first book. I will have to read more of his in the future. It caught my eye as 2 of my favorite authors recommended the book, Francine Rivers and Randy Alcorn.

It is a story of love from a young age but one of them is a Christian and refuses to be yolked with an unbeliever. I won't give the ending away. For me there were tears as well.
