Camille's daddy is rich. She has made mistakes and is an ex-addict struggling to find her own way. Her father's reputation (and of course $$) overshadow her, but she tries to make the best of it. Jake is ex military and is dealing with PTSD. Jake becomes Camille's bodyguard after a threat comes in targeting her.
I found the differing POV helpful. Each chapter is marked, so there was no confusion who was "speaking." I did appreciate Jake's POV, without it, I would have hated him and had little to no sympathy for him (He's an asshole, IMO). Some of this worked and some didn't, I thought with them fighting their attraction to each other, it was distracting at moments that could have been dangerous. I was pleasantly surprised that Camille had some depth.
