It's a good book, but not her best. I got a little tired of Lady Jane's naivete. I'm sure it was possible in the Regency period for women to be so sheltered that they had no idea whatsoever what sexual feelings consisted of, but her constant running away every time her own husband kissed her because it made her feel "funny" became as tiresome for the reader as it did for her husband.
Laura Matthews is a brilliant writer of Regencies, and I've read several that were absolutely wonderful. This one falls just a bit flat compared to her usually stellar work.
