Victoria Laurie writes one of my favorite cozy series: Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye.  The author is a professional psychic and does phone readings.  I gave one to my mom as a Mother's Day gift and she's talking to her right now!  I'm DYING to hear all about it. 

Thought those of you who like her books might be interested, and I'm so antsy about it, I just had to share!  :)

I wish she'd knock off doing the readings and write more stories LOL! Have you read her 2 books in the ghosthunters? they're funny too...the woman in ghosthunters is one who appears briefly in one of the psychic eye books MJ I think is her name.

I saw on her website she does readings..sounded interesting though I'm not sure I wanna spend the money!

So Mom said it was really fun.  She said that she'll have a successful medical procedure this fall (crazy mom is getting a face-lift that she so doesn't need - she already looks 10 years younger than her age), that my grandfather will be around for a long time (he's 93) and that my husband and I need to be very careful or excess spending will cause tension in our relationship.  She said that Mom won't get into a relationship until at least after the new year, and that her cash inflow will increase next May because she's going to start teaching (Mom's an artist and has been wanting to teach art workshops). 

So pretty cool!  Book 7 in the Psychic Eye series is due out this summer and there will be at least two more in that series.  I haven't started the ghosthunter series yet, but I have them on Mt. TBR.

I use to like her, then she pretty much bashed a person on Amazon for leaving her a bad review. It left me with a bad taste for her now.

I'm trying to ignore the bashing since I like her books so much...wish I hadn't heard about that :-( but I read it in another post a while back. actually the bad review I read about one of her books and I *think* that's the one she replied to I thought the person was a bit harsh (IMO) though I probably would've just let it go but as they said in their review, the silliness and stereotype stuff the reviewer complained about is the main reason I like the series! I don't buy these for serious but for the cute humor and overall mystery/story.

anyways, I'm sorta scared what a  psychic would tell me LOL i'm the type who'd think something bad was gonna happen and freak out every minute...

it's sorta funny when I went to borders the day Ithought amazon had said her latest book would be out and they said no it's due next month..adn I said 'you'd think a psychic would know when her book was coming out'! wel wouldnt' you think?? :-) oh boy another psychic eye book yippee!!
