I posted a book by mistake, now it is on hold with 8 wishers, can I pull it before someone accepts?

No. Put your account on vacation hold, in case the book rolls over to the next member. Then select the Cannot Mail option if the book is offered. You will need to explain. I recommend an apology PM to the member. 

Please DO NOT TURN down any RCs. They do not stop this process.

I think when someone requests it, accept the request, then click the Cancel button on the screen and that should do it.  But you should send a PM to the person who requested it explaining why you canceled it.

Thanks, first person didn't take it so it rolled off, and I was able to delete the book from my shelf.
