Doug Fields bases his book on the 5 Scripture based purposes from Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Church, but the church I served as Youth Counselor is SO small- (how small is it?) the church mice have to hold their Bible Studies in a closet! Badumbump- Chee! Point being, this is an outstanding resource, But it's hard to keep a youth group going with only 3 youth.

I am an adult volunteer with my church's youth group, and they are strongly based on the principles outlined in this book. Great for volunteers, not just leaders and pastors. Helps you to make a difference in the life of teens without getting burnt out or overdoing it.
