Very interesting book with insight into the psychological makeup of the British royal family - particularly the late Diana. The focus is on the relationship between Diana and Queen Elizabeth II, with a definite sympathy towards the Queen. If you are a British royalty fan, this book will give you perspective into why Diana's behavior was considered bad form to the royal family, and why the marriage between Diana and Charles was doomed to failure. This book intrigued me enough that I would be very interested in reading a more scholarly work about Diana's mental health issues.

While very well written, the book takes a very critical stance towards the Princess of Wales and is very sympathetic towards Queen Elizabeth.
