I liked the natural way the author tied in history. It didn't at all seem like an overview of Christian themes but rather a historical fiction novel. Although I don't think I could use it as a reference for my teaching, it was definitely a good read and something that I would recommend to others. Anytime a book makes me curious and leaves me wanting to do some research, it's a good thing.
