I have been searching the forums for this question for a week and havent' found an answer, so here goes. If I don't have a copy of a book I just read, should I still post it to my list? I ask this because I did post several books that I DO NOT have copies of and they are now tagged by folks who have them on their WL. Won't this confuse matters ? Any suggestions about what should or shouldn't be posted? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks :) |

Posting books to your Books I've Read list does not affect anyone's WL and they do not see them...it is simply a good spot for you to keep a list of books you've read. |

The wishlist things are "just there" ... some people like to use them to decide which books to list first because they feel like the request will come sooner if there is a wish list. (Often it does.) |

For some readers the BIR is what keeps us from ordering books we've already read or have! I can't tell you how many times I've not been able to remember if I've read a book while looking at it. Sometimes the publishers change the covers and/or the descriptions of the book. I frequently think I need the BIR list MORE than a WL !!! The people probably tagged books that are on one of their own lists. If it's the same ISBN, the tag will show on your books too. |
