SPOILERS AHEAD

I just finished Hard Bitten and at the end Ethan dies! Is this another Bobby Ewing (yeah, I'm really dating myself) or is he really dead? I am mostly a romance reader so this is so unacceptable to me (lol). I don't know whether I want to read the rest of the series if Ethan is out of the picture.

Can someone give me some non-spoiler insights if the series is worth continuing?

No, not a Bobby Ewing, another character takes the reigns. I was pretty ticked when Ethan was dusted, but Chloe said to "trust me", and I did:)

You will be suprised about how it all turns out.  Keep on reading.  It is worth it.

I agree, completely worth it.  The next book in the series is one of the best, IMO.

Thank you for your response I am going to finish the series. A friend has posted the next three books to me and I am excited to read more in the series.

I clicked on this topic because I had not heard of the series.  Thank You!!  I've tried to find another series to read and kept getting 40 pages into a book and not enjoying it.  This one, on the other hand, I started reading and loved it.  Already downloaded books 2 and 3 from my library so I can keep reading.

I just finished House Rules, the 7th book, and couldn't wait to look in here. I really wanted to know what this was about but didn't know when the spoilers happened. I LOVE this series. I really wanted to throw that book against the wall when Ethan died but hung in there.  So very happy I did because Merit is such a wonderful character. It is definitely not Bobby Ewing (didn't you feel RIPPED OFF with that whole shower thing?) but with paranormal you can pretty much get away with anything.

Can't wait for the next book.

Just finished book 5 - Drink Deep - the book after Ethan's death. I read it in one day!! I couldn't put it down. Now I have to wait until book 6 is posted to me. Great series so far. Can't wait to see where it goes!!
