I saw in the book bazaar someone asking for credits in exchange for a gift card. Is this allowed?? I wasn't sure and was just wondering...

I know members can purchase credits and the money can be given to them via paypal or thru an Amazon gift card, but this was different.

Let me know, Thanks!!

You mean a physical gift card? Or just another type of gift cards except for Amazon's? I don't see why using other gift cards instead of Amazon would make a difference on the deal.

BUT just note that deals in the Book Bazaar are not monitored by PBS and both sellers and buyers make their deals at their own risk.

It is ok to use gift cards to pay when buying credits. There is one post in the Bazaar recently that is technically not good as he was advertising that he was selling the GC for credits, but I was in a migraine and didn't have the brain power to explain the technicality to him so I hadn't PMed him. I will go make sure he isn't bumping his post and if he is have him change his wording. The key is that you can sell you credits. Right now GCs are allowed as a form of currency to pay for them.
