Can someone please clue me in?  I want to move items on my bookshelf, and have heard people mention that you should offer a 2 for 1 deal.  How do I go about doing this?

Thanks!

First it doesn't have to be 2 for 1-you  can do 3 for 1, 5 for 2 or whatever deal you want.  When I do a deal I usually just put it in my signature so I dont have to keep up wiht a book bazaar thread.  But I post a lot so my signature is seen by a lot of other forum posters.  I also put it in my bookshelf header.

Most members just run an ad in the book bazaar with the deal they are offering.  Just make sure to do it on a day when you can come on an update your bookshelf frequently.  It's frustrating to request a deal from someone who isn't removing books quickly and then asking you to change your request.

I would also note if you have pets or smoke so people with RCS for those can turn them off or avoid ordering.

Also if you can't mail a book for some reason becasue of RC's, can't find the book et.., -ask them to cancel.  If you cancel the request will go to someoen who is not offering a deal.  Many people have books they'll order only on a deal because they're heavily posted.

Lisa - if you go to the Book Bazaar Forum and browse you will see many examples of how people offer deals. Most people have someone request the number of books from their shelf that they will be spending in credits and PM or post the free requests so if I am offering a 5 for 2, I'd have you order 2 and PM/post the 3 others you want included for free.

Before posting in the Book Bazaar, make sure to read the General Rules in the red sticky thread towards the top of the Forum called "How to Use this Forum..." There is some stuff you need to know in there (like only posting one offer thread per day and only bumping your post up once a day) and also great tips on smoothly running deals.
