I had some trouble with my printer. Took out print cartridges, cleaned all the contacts, put them back and now I can print. The problem is it is printing out the wrong date on the labels. It is printing the "mail by" date instead of today's date. So my labels all say Dec 10 or Dec 11 instead of Dec 6. I was planning to drop these in the mail today but now I'm not sure. I know some post offices are sticklers about the dates on the labels. Does anyone know if it matters or how to fix it? Thanks! |

This is about printable postage, right? If the date is in the future, it should be fine. If the date is in the past is where the PO has an issue, as it makes the mail look slower than it really is. |

Yes, this is about printable postage, not just labels. Didn't make that clear. Thanks! Guess I'll go ahead and mail them today. Last Edited on: 12/6/09 3:59 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

In general, you can adjust the "mail by" date on the wrapper page, but if you've already tried printing the wrapper out once, you can't reprint it with another date. As Britney said, you're fine since they're future dates. |
