I have a book that is WishListed by 40-odd people.

The first person PM'd me asking me what kind of cover/dustjacket it had, and i knew she would cancel because it wasn't what she wanted.

So far, no other takers yet.

But when i look on the transaction archive, the book is not listed. It's not listed as cancelled by anyone, and it's not listed as anyone else cancelling it yet either. It's on 48 hour wait again so it had to have been cancelled by someone.

So i have seen other people on the forum talk about how they had a book and it went through 4 people before being accepted, and i was wondering... where do you find that information at? How do i know how many people have turned it down?

Thanks in advance for any answers!

I had one wishlist book that went through 3 people before it was taken. I guess that if the transaction times out, maybe it doesn't show on your transaction archive. The one that actually turned it down should have, though.

Tracey, you can see when it goes to the next person by the date of the transaction on your tab "books I've requested".  If it is a WL book, the person has 48 hours to answer you, or it automatically goes to the next on the list.  Just check out the date "reserved on", and watch it change if 48 hours passes. It doesn't show up on your TA because it's not a completed transaction.
