I sent 2 books and she requested 2 from me. I rec'd hers today. It has 40 some odd missing pages. Since no credits were involved, what should happen. There is no way I can repost it. |

I would PM her and politely complain. Then give her a few days to respond. I wouldn't mark the BOB received and leave feedback until I got a response. If you get no response there's nothing you can really do but leave bad feedback and report her to PBS. PBS won't get you a credit or a replacement book but if there's enough complaints they will get rid of the member. I received a bob book once with the spine falling apart and a huge dead bug smooshed inside. I almost lost my lunch when I opened it. I PM'd her and she apologized, confessed to having stored teh books in her garage, and wrapping them in a hurry and offered me either a credit or another book from her shelf. I let her send me another book which was in excellent condition. I didn't mark the BOB received or leave feedback until I got the 2nd book. |

Is it possible the 40 missing pages are a publishers error? I had a book once that was missing a lot of pages and they hadn't been torn out by someone--they'd never been put in the book by the publisher! It's possible she may not have known there were pages missing if this is the case--especially if she had never read the book! |

No, it is a older book . Its not in the best shape anyway, but I would not have said anything about that. I'm not sure I want to start it without those pages though |

I also had one (not from PBS) that had about 30 pages missing from the middle of the book. DH was about half way through and the pages started duplicating. In order for him to finish the book had to order a copy from a PBS member, but I did ask them to check to make sure that those pages were in their copy of the book. (They were, and DH got to finish the book). Pat |
