I accepted a request from a member, then noticed on their wish list they have a book that I just finished, and have not posted yet. Can I PM the member and ask if they want me to mail the other book with the one that I had already accepted? Of course, it would not make a difference in my postage. Is this against PBS guidelines or rules? Lisa |

No, this is not against PBS rules, and there is even a method provided to complete your transaction. PBS acknowledges that members have the right to save on mailing costs. If you wish, you can post the book directly to the wishlist of the other member. Go to her wislist, find the book, and on the upper right (?) should be a button "post this book". Choosing this button (from her wishlist) will post your book directly to the other member, BUT double check the ISBN to make sure she is wishing for the same edition. At this point, I think the system will group the books together (if the shipping label hasn't been printed yet). If the ISBN is different, I would definately contact the other member and confirm she is willing to accept an alternate edition. |

I don't think you would be making any faux pas. In your PM, you could mention that you just finished reading "Bla bla bla" and would the receiver like you to post it to her shelf, and it mail with the previously ordered book. |

Thanks, thanks, thanks for these forums. I learn something new every day. I had no idea that a certain book could be posted directly to another members wishlist. I did this and PM'ed her. Thanks again! Lisa |

I do this all the time but I would PM first. If they are out of credits then they have to scramble to find one for a book they weren't at the top for or cancel and lose their place in line. |
