I posted this question in the Writer's Forum but wanted to post here too.
Ok so I'm writing an autobiography as one of my books. What are the laws that protect "us" when we write the personal things so that people don't sue us? For instance, my mother has major mental problems and that will be a LOT of my book.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I don't want to go through emotional HELL writing this book and then not be able to publish it. Thank you!!!! Dawn
