If the rip is shorter than 1 1/2 inches, it's still postable. That one looks like it just might still be postable, I can't tell the size of the rip from the picture.

Is the 2nd picture a spot of liquid? If it is, it's unpostable, no matter how small the liquid damage. If you aren't sure it's liquid damage though ...

I wouldn't mail out a book like that, but on the other hand, I'm also not sure if I would mark it a RWAP unless I was sure that spot was liquid damage of some kind.

Thanks Sara.  The rip is just shy of 1.5 inches.
I'm more lenient on the stain because it's actually a mirror of the name that was written on the interior and blacked out.  It leaked onto that page.  
I'll mark it received ok and move on.  The children's school librarian will let me know if I need to repost it.
