Hi all, I couldn't remember something--whenever a book gets requested, then passed onto someone else, then someone else, do those people that never answered the request get penalized?  I'm on my 3rd person now for a book and i'm patiently waiting because I really want it lol!  Thanks!

Keri--My understanding is that PBS monitors this activity and will suspend or close accounts that look to be inactive.

The book gets removed from their shelf and the site will put a member on vacation hold pretty quickly for missed requests these days. I think it is after only one or two transactions now.

Yes, that's what I've heard too. I don't know that anyone has said the exact number of requests that need to be ignored before they suspend the account, though. Probably more than one, but hopefully not more than 2.
