I read one of her books and really liked it. Then I read another and almost stopped reading it because she had people dying in the book that really didn't need to die. I don't like books where people who you have grown to know in the course of reading the book are killed for no apparent reason. I also found the second book to be rather violent for a female author. Was my second reading experience representive of Rose as an author? |

I've read 4 or 5 of hers and they are inevitably very violent. I keep thinking I should stop reading her, but enjoy them otherwise. |

Yep, they are usually pretty violent, but I enjoy her books :) |

Yes, over all her books are pretty violent, but I enjoy her books and have them all. If you don't like that much violence you might try Brenda Novak, her books have the suspense w/o all the violence, it is implied, rather than demonstrated, except for a few exceptions. The only thing about her books is some are stronger, as far as how good they then others, IMHO. |
