So forgive me if this has been addressed elsewhere (if so, I can't find it): Before, when I came to this site, it'd seem like I'd type in the name of an author and the first books to pop up were available titles. Likewise, if I'd type in the title of a book, the first ones to pop up were books available for trading. Now, I get this mass of unsorted titles, where I have to wade through page after page of every imaginable iteration of the title and/or author, fervently hunting for an "order this" link. Has there been a redesign to manipulate more Amazon linkage? Was a setting changed on my account? How can I browse more efficiently? Perplexed, Josh |

I've been finding that the PBS Market books seem to hop to the top of the searches. And the sorts. While I know that is how PBS has been making money, it is still frustrating. You can use the book browser and select only posted books. But that doesn't solve it. The author page is separated by availability. But it lacks showing all the versions that the search has. Argh. |

Yup, the search and sort functions have been tweaked. IMHO the tweaks leave a lot to be desired. -RD |

On the book browser (the search page), you can change the top drop down (Search Type) to Posted Books and it will only show you books that are available for ordering. You can also scroll down and change the Sort By dropdown to Title or Author or whatever you need. Then click Update Results. |

The search box in the upper right now returns all books instead of just posted books. I don't think it really has anything to do with Amazon linkage tho that is more prominant now too. I think there were just a lot of requests by members who wanted that quick search function to return all books so that even if the book they wanted to see was wishlisted it would show up. You can still do a search limited to posted books by going through the Advanced Search option. |

got it! there was just a new pull-down i was having trouble finding amidst all the others (successfully highlighted here by jenna b). not really that bad. but not exactly intuitive design, either! |
