Our daughter who is 13 was just diagnoised by her CSW with Aspergers syndrome and Inattentive ADHD and I was looking for ideas on books and how to work with her at home while we are waiting on everyone else to finish the testing etc that they need to do.

Thanks,

Theresa

I would recommend books from Prufrock Press.  They may be hard to find at your public library.  Perhaps the CSW has some to loan you.

http://www.prufrock.com/ (click on "special needs" at the bottom of the left sidebar links - then go to Aspergers/Austism resources)

My 10 y.o. has Autism.  I know how you must be feeling right now.  Her diagnosis at age 3 slammed us in the face.

OASIS Guide to Asperger Syndrome is the best.  They have an excellent website, too.  Here's a link.  http://www.aspergersyndrome.org/

My son was diagnosed with AS and ADHD 3 years ago.  Here are some websites I have found useful.
