I love swapping books on PBS but some of my bigger items I really need to be able to sell. Is there a site that people have found where their items have sold well.

Thanks,

Nancy

I've had really good luck selling the curriculum that I couldn't afford to swap on http://www.homeschoolclassifieds.com/

My user ID there is SunnyOK there too.

BTW, did I mention that it is FREE??

I've sold things on Vegsource.com -it's a really active board.

I've used eBay, Amazon, and Vegsource.com.

Vegsource isn't pretty, but it's very active and it's free.  If you're selling mainstream curriculum, it seems to go pretty fast.  So far, it's my first choice for selling stuff online.  If something doesn't sell, you can always try another site later!

I've recently also started using HomeschoolClassifieds and I'm having good luck.  Locally, I use our HS Swap group on Yahoo Groups (I started, and own the list).  I prefer doing local swaps due to the possibility of cheating.  I was cheated on Ebay last year out of $150 of curriculua I ordered.  I won't ever use them again.  Vegsource is good, but I find it so overwhelming and visually distracting.

You could also find out if local HS groups do annual, or bi-annual swaps.  Every group around here does.

I used to use the sale board at The Well Trained Mind site. Now they limit sellers to those who have posted at least 50 posts in the chat forums. It is free.

I can't use VegSource as they banned people with my ISP (one of the biggest ISPs in USA).

Thank you to those telling about homeschoolclassifieds as I'd never heard of it. I have ten boxes of curriculum and books for HSing waiting to try to resell when I have time!
