I don't know if I should post this here but was hoping someone could help me out. I have some books I want to donate. Some are on my list others is what I have called unpostable because of age and yellowing pages. These are still very useable. I would like them to go to military, shelters, or to someone that really needs books to read. Please if anyoner can help let me know what I can do. Thank you

Hey Amber,

As a result of looking around on PBS, I had read about someone suggesting OperationPaperback.org.  Also, I have a friend that works at a shelter and if you are near a woman's shelter, they take books as well. I'd check the local one near you too.

Hope that helps!

I have sent many of my books to soldiers on 'Any Soldier.com', also if you live near a veterans hospital, they will gladly take them.  Am taking some of mine to the VA hospital , clinic where my DH has an appointment Tuesday.

Thank you for the help. I will be checking into both of these suggestions.

Any USO will also take paperbacks. They have a rack at each center or airport for the military folks to pick up a good read!
