I don't do this often, but I had an order for 5 books which is 5 credits, so I thought DC might be a good idea on this one!  The clerk at the post office was unable to scan the package due to the tape I guess, but he typed the numbers into the computer.  Will this work the same as scanning?  I haven't received my credits yet (just got back a little bit ago from the post office).  Any thoughts?

I've never had to have one typed in, but would imagine it would work the same. You should receive your credits once USPS transmits the information to PBS.  Some times it takes over night for the info to be transmitted and PBS to update.

Yes, I've had them typed in ... same as scanning.
