I usually use delivery confirmation on all the books that I send.  Mainly because when I sold on Ebay, people would claim not to get stuff, so I decided to avoid this, that I would use delivery confirmation on everything.  I just had a few books requested by the same person.  It is my understanding I can mail them all together, but than it would use just one DC hence one quick credit correct?  Then the rest of the books I would have to wait for them to mark mailed to receive the credit?

If all of the books came as separate orders, then yes, with PBS-DC, you'd get the credit for the one book the DC was assigned to and wait for the rest. If it is a bulk order, you'd get them all on the first scan (at least I did with the one I mailed last week).

PBS postage will not help with multiple orders being shipped bulk, because you would only be using the PBS postage on one book and just printing dummy labels on the others, or you would need to mail all separately.

I think automatically does a bulk order label now so you might get them all right away. I posted a WL book last week.  I had another book from their WL and posted that one to them the next day.  It put them on a bulk order automatically. I didn't use DC or printed postage so I don't know if it would to the credit for both right away. I think it would now because this is a new feature. Although I was gone for a month so I don't know when they did that.  But it didn't do it before.

yes, I think it came as a bulk request.  They were all grouped and only gave the option of "can not mail this book" then at the bottom of the order, it said "can mail these books"  So guess I will see what it does when I print off the label with DC. Thanks guys for the info

You should be good Meta. I just checked my bulk order I sent a little over a week ago and I got all 4 credits on the first scan. (I use PBS-DC only)

This is partly why I LOVE being a Boxer!!!!  Several books go in ONE box and you pay for ONE d/c and save moolah.  Wheeeee!!!!!

I do a fair amount of bulk orders. The PBS shipping gives you credit in one fell swoop for all the books on the bulk list.

Yep, bulk orders (really the only instance that I use the PBS postage/DC anymore) do generate all your credits at once, as long as they were indeed a bulk order and not several books ordered separately from the same person. Beauty! :)
