Very useful book, especially for a new quilter. It's nearly a lesson plan, starting out with simple patch blocks, and going on to more complex blocks. Well written and with good illustrations and instructions. The book includes heavy paper templates for each block with clear explanations for their use.

I love that this book has full size patterns and great tips and ideas for quilts. I plan on using it very soon to make a quilt for my husband.
