Why are the covers all wrong in PBS compared to the books I own? Every time I put in a copy of book I or II with the solid colored cover the clock comes up and viscera. Not a big deal but I would think they would have fixed that by now.

The only thing I can think of is the publisher used the same ISBN for both covers.  They do it quite frequently.   When I was sending out Lady of Sherwood by Jennifer Roberson the person had an RC requesting the non-bodice ripper like cover and wanted the original cover because they both shared the same ISBN.  It is annoying though.  It always makes me think I'm either putting in the wrong book or the system is wrong.

I think Holly is absolutely right.

The books have been reissued with different cover art than the original versions, but as long as the ISBN numbers match, the covers don't matter.  (Though personally I prefer the original artistic covers to the solid color covers.  DG herself has referred to the green cover of the reissue of An Echo in the Bone as "The Green Slime".)
