A number of times a book on my wish list will indicate that I am 3 of 4 (for example) and the next time I check it will say 4 of 5. Does anyone know how I go backwards? I assume it's because a sender cancelled the shipment to whoever is number 1 and they have to be addes make on. I guess it depends on when you come off the list, when someone agrees to ship or when you receive.
Any other ideas? |

When people have their accounts on hold, their wishlist is on hold, too. When they take it off hold, they regain their place in the wishlist line - this is another possibility as to why you moved backward. |

There are 2 main reasons you can move backwards 1) A person has their account on hold. When they release the account from hold, they return to their place in the WL line. 2) Someone has the book posted to their WL and it's mailed to them. THe book goes lost in the mail. The person is then put back at the #1 spot on the WL - therefore "bumping" you backwards. |

Thanks, I didn't think about accounts on hold. I guess that explains the mystery and now I can concern myself with other important trivia.

When they change to the new WL format you might fluctuate up and down a space or two on all your WL books. |
