This book will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first page. If you've read and liked Connie Willis' book "Passages," you'll like this book, too. It's a haunting book and will leave you thinking...and wondering.

WHAT A MESS!
Too bad you can't give negative stars!
Sorry to admit, I spent days reading this horrendous excuse for a novel. As in earlier reviews, I'm bewildered at the total absence of editing. Have the major publishers eliminated that job?
The plot (and I use the term loosely) meandered in every conceivable direction. Notwithstanding the full-page bibliography, was there any purposeful research done prior to writing this book? The author left at least one major character hanging, never to mention them again.
There are any number of better ways to spend your money and your leisure time.
