Unfortunately, this is NOT my favorite "how-to" quilting book. It was the first I bought, but found that it did not address many of my questions. I have since found one that is MUCH better. I actually prefer the "Better Homes and Gardens Complete Guide to Quilting." I would actually recommend that one over this one any day.

This was one of the very first books I purchased when I started quilting. It is excellent. I used it as a learning reference, a guide, and a browsing book for pleasure.
Fons and Porter are wonderful teachers. They break everything down to easy steps. It takes very little time to make a quilt using their directions.
